| Project name: «Safety and comfort for patients with reduced mobility» |

| Project objectives: Creating safe and comfortable conditions for the stay and rehabilitation of patients after acute cerebrovascular accident, traumatic brain injury, as well as after operations on the brain and spinal cord during the stationary phase of medical rehabilitation |
| Tasks planned for implementation in the framework of the project: • improving the infrastructure and material and technical base of the departments of medical rehabilitation of patients with neurological profile through the acquisition of functional medical furniture; • creating conditions for independent movement of patients within the institution by providing them with self-propelled wheelchairs. |
| Target group: People with physical disabilities (including those of working age): with motor, sensory and cognitive impairments - more than 1700 people per year. |
| Brief description of the project activities: People with limited physical abilities, in addition to the medical component of rehabilitation, need physical and psychological comfort of their stay at the hospital, which allows them to increase their motivation for recovery. This is achieved with the help of: • functional bed, allowing for early motor activity with minimal outside help or without it; • unaided movement within the institution, thereby meeting one of the basic needs of a person to be independent; |
